Customer Account Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Our Client requires a Customer Account Coordinator to join their busy and successful team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager.

The purpose of the position is the day-to-day management, development, training and support of customer accounts at national and international level.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Management of a portfolio of medium to large customer accounts.
  • Design, organise and conduct customer training on company products.
  • Providing first line telephone customer support, email and face-to-face client contact as required.
  • Playing an active role in trial preparation including administration of online system.
  • Troubleshooting customer issues from initial logging to resolution.
  • Presenting the company to clients and customers as required e.g. attending exhibitions/trade shows.
  • Demonstrating company products and services to prospective customers from a summary to a detailed level.
  • Assisting with event organisation and other marketing activities.
  • Designing and creating customer documentation.
  • Order Processing, liaison with mobile networks and updating billing system information.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Must be fluent in either French or Spanish preferably both.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, ambitious and outgoing person – ability to interact well with others on the telephone and in person as this is a highly customer facing role.
  • Excellent Presentation Skills – comfortable presenting to individuals, small and large groups.
  • PC literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Internet-based Java applications and in-house support applications (training provided).
  • 1-2 Yrs commercial experience providing Customer Support including 1st Line IT Applications support would be a distinct advantage.
  • Willing to travel occasionally in UK and Europe.
  • Additional language skills desirable but not essential – German and/or Italian.

managing a team which includes Materials Planning, Stores, Goods In/Out, Purchasing and Transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate inventory control, warehouse, finished goods coupled with ongoing price reductions.
  • Management of the logistics team to deliver first class processes that support the company logistics programme.
