Our Client requires a Graduate Bridges Engineer To support
the Senior Engineer in the delivery of bridge schemes, undertaking
inspection and design work in connection with the maintenance
of structures in the NW Unit.
Responsibilities Include
Act as a member of the design team, helping to ensure projects
are delivered to the timescales, quality and costs agreed
with the client.
Undertake principal, general routine and cyclic inspections.
Assist in developing maintenance solutions by reviewing
inspection reports and mitigation in schemes.
Undertake the delivery of maintenance and strengthening
schemes including undertaking design, preparing tender documents
and ensuring adequate site supervision.
Undertake risk assessments and safety checks.
Assist in the repair of Damage to Crown Property, including
surveying asset damage, organising remedial action and evaluating
safe restoration of traffic flow.
Attend to customer queries regarding structure maintenance
and repair.
Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System.
Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation
Ideal Candidates
BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering

Driving the movement of all CRC supporting processes –
